The Axxess Wireless Motion Sensor detects movement and communicates events over a Zigbee Pro network, allowing a compatible Control4 system to respond to activity in a room. It is useful for automating lights in hallways, closets, utility rooms and other spaces where hands-free control makes daily life easier.
Beyond movement detection, the sensor also measures ambient light and temperature. These additional readings give an integrator more context when designing room behavior, such as using motion to activate lights only when the room is sufficiently dark. Two ball-mount options and supplied installation hardware help position the device for the intended coverage area.

Motion-triggered lighting
Use motion events in compatible automation programming to switch on lights when a space becomes active and to start occupancy-based timeout routines.
Light-aware automation
Ambient light measurements can be incorporated into lighting logic to avoid unnecessary illumination when daylight is sufficient.
Room temperature visibility
The integrated temperature measurement provides an additional environmental reading for supported automation and monitoring workflows.
Zigbee Pro communication
Motion and sensor events are communicated wirelessly over the supported Zigbee network, avoiding a dedicated data cable to the sensor.
Flexible mounting
The supplied short and long ball mounts allow positioning for the room layout and desired sensing direction.
Designed for programmed responses
Automation behavior depends on the compatible Control4 driver, system configuration and programmed rules rather than being fixed by the sensor itself.
