Smart Home Networking & Wi-Fi
A reliable network is the foundation of a modern smart home. Control4, streaming audio and video, surveillance cameras, voice assistants, mobile devices and other connected technologies all depend on a properly designed network to communicate reliably.
Automated Now specializes in Araknis Networks products and professional smart-home networking solutions, including routers, managed network switches, PoE switches, wireless access points and other wired and wireless networking equipment. We also work with Ubiquiti UniFi and other networking platforms for residential automation applications.
For professionally integrated homes, networking is about more than simply having an internet connection. Proper equipment selection and placement, wired Ethernet connections, strong Wi-Fi coverage and correctly configured network hardware can improve the reliability and performance of the entire automation system.
Control4 and other home automation systems rely heavily on the home network for communication between controllers, touchscreens, mobile devices, audio/video equipment, surveillance systems and connected services. A properly designed and configured network helps these devices communicate consistently throughout the home.
Automated Now can provide Araknis network equipment, network setup, configuration and remote networking support for new and existing smart homes.
