Premium 4K Video. Extended Without Compromise.
Extend premium 4K HDMI video, network connectivity, USB, control and compatible eARC audio between equipment and a distant display using one Cat6A cable.
Built for custom home theaters, distributed AV systems and commercial installations, this transmitter-and-receiver kit transports uncompressed 18Gbps 4K60 4:4:4 video up to 70 meters. For installations requiring up to 100 meters, AVPro Edge’s selectable Invisible Compression Technology (ICT) reduces the transport bandwidth to 10.2Gbps while maintaining a high-quality picture.
More than an HDMI extender.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT combines HDBaseT 3.0 video transport with network extension, USB 2.0, bidirectional IR/RS-232 and audio-return support. It is designed for situations where AV sources, processors and network equipment are located in a centralized rack while the display is installed elsewhere.
Its selectable bandwidth mode is especially useful when a long cable route or existing infrastructure cannot reliably carry a full 18Gbps signal. Installers can choose uncompressed transmission for supported shorter runs or ICT for compatible longer-distance installations.
Features and capabilities
| 18Gbps 4K60 4:4:4 video | Pass uncompressed HDMI 2.0 video at up to 4K/60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma and HDR at distances up to 70 meters (230 feet) over suitable Cat6A cabling. |
| Up to 100 meters with ICT | For longer cable runs, select Invisible Compression Technology (ICT) to reduce transport bandwidth to 10.2Gbps and extend compatible 4K signals up to 100 meters (328 feet). The 100-meter mode is not uncompressed 18Gbps. |
| HDBaseT 3.0 and one-cable design | Carry video, control, network, USB and supported return-audio functions between the transmitter and receiver using a single Cat6A link, reducing separate cable runs. |
| ARC / eARC audio return | Support compatible ARC/eARC installations so audio from a television can return toward an audio system, subject to the source, display and connection configuration. |
| USB 2.0 KVM extension | Extend USB 2.0 peripherals for workstation and KVM applications; manufacturer documentation specifies up to 350Mbps USB extension. |
| Ethernet and bidirectional control | Extend Gigabit Ethernet alongside video and use bidirectional IR and RS-232 for control of equipment installed away from the display. |
| EDID management and video scaling | Select EDID presets or capture a connected display EDID to help resolve source/display negotiation; integrated video management options support mixed equipment. |
| Flexible power and mounting | Power over HDBaseT means only one endpoint needs the included 48V supply. Supplied mounting hardware supports tidy equipment-rack and behind-display placement. |
Flexible for residential and commercial AV.
Home theater and media rooms: Keep streaming players, receivers and source equipment in a dedicated rack while delivering high-resolution video to a remote projector or TV.
Whole-home AV: Extend a video feed to a distant room and retain supported control and network connectivity across the same structured-cabling path.
Commercial displays: Connect conference-room screens, digital signage or presentation systems where local HDMI runs would be impractical.
KVM installations: Combine remote video with USB 2.0 peripherals where the supported USB bandwidth and host/device configuration meet project needs.

Distance and feature availability depend on cable quality, connected equipment, firmware and configuration. Do not interpret the 100m rating as uncompressed 18Gbps at 100m.
Connections and compatibility.
Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter and the display to the receiver, then link the two units with a tested Cat6A cable. A single included 48V supply powers the pair through Power over HDBaseT. Use EDID management and the selectable ICT mode when required by the connected display or cable infrastructure.
For eARC, USB, Ethernet and control applications, verify the port assignment and supported operating mode in the current manufacturer manual before installation. This is a point-to-point extender, not an HDMI matrix switch or an Ethernet-network AV-over-IP encoder.
Included components
AC-EX100-444-T3 transmitter, AC-EX100-444-R3 receiver, one 48V power supply, IR transmitter and receiver accessories, two RS-232 terminal blocks, four mounting brackets and eight mounting screws.
