The LG WebOS SmartTV driver provides two-way network control for compatible LG televisions running WebOS 3.0 or later. Power, inputs, volume, mute, channel, navigation and app launching can all be controlled directly through Control4.
Because the driver communicates with the television over the local network, Control4 can receive live feedback about what the TV is actually doing. Changes made using the LG remote can also be reflected in the Control4 interface.
The driver operates locally without requiring a cloud service, LG account or internet connection for control.
