Automated Now provides remote identification and configuration of one compatible Control4 device within an existing Control4 project. This service is ideal for customers or installers who have physically installed a device and simply need a Control4 programmer to identify it in Composer and complete the required configuration.

We work directly with you or your on-site installer or technician to physically identify the device while our programmer handles the Control4 programming remotely.

WHAT CAN WE IDENTIFY?

This service is designed for compatible Control4 devices that require identification within an existing Control4 project, such as:

• Control4 light switches and dimmers.
• Control4 keypads.
• Control4 remotes.
• Compatible Control4 Zigbee devices.
• Other similar devices that require identification within Composer.

Once the physical device is ready, we'll work with you or your installer to place the device into identification mode while our programmer completes the process remotely.

DESIGNED FOR EXISTING CONTROL4 SYSTEMS

This service is specifically intended for projects that already have an existing Control4 system and programming in place.

It's a simple, cost-effective option when you don't need a larger programming package—you just need one compatible device identified and configured.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

This package is specifically for the identification and basic configuration of one compatible device.

It does not include:

• Programming of TVs, AV receivers, or other equipment requiring Control4 endpoints, connections, or more extensive programming.
• Registration or setup of a new Control4 system or customer account.
• Troubleshooting or correction of pre-existing system or programming issues.
• Additional programming unrelated to the device being identified.
• Identification or programming of additional devices beyond the single device included with this service.

If your project requires more extensive changes, our Control4 Hourly Programming service may be a better fit.

YOUR PROJECT FILE IS INCLUDED

Once the device has been successfully identified and configured, we'll provide you with a copy of the updated Control4 .c4p project file for your records.
