Control4 Driver - Link for X4

OVERVIEW

With the introduction of Control4 X4, support for a range of legacy Gen-1 and Gen-2 Zigbee-based dimmers, switches and keypads has been sunset. This poses a serious challenge for customers who have made significant investments in these now unsupported products.

Introducing Link for Control4 — our seamless bridging solution that extends the life of your legacy Zigbee devices. Link works by dividing the Control4 system into two interconnected environments: a pre-X4.1/X5 OS system that acts as the Zigbee and Link server, and an X4.1/X5-based system that runs the Link client driver. These two components communicate bi-directionally, enabling real-time control and feedback across systems.

Link for Control4 protects your liighting investment, reduces costly hardware replacements, and ensures continuity during the transition to newer platforms.

What are the Requirements for this driver?

• Server requires OS2.10.6 or later. OS3.3.0 or later recommended

• Client requires OS3.3.0 or later.

Why is this product so exciting?
